Our ServicesNational Radiology Group is one of the only radiology firms in the nation with the on-site capability to read a high volume of both teleradiology and traditional analog studies. At our state-of-the-art reading center in Dallas, which opened in January 2007, NRG utilizes seven teleradiology reading rooms equipped with a brand new PACS system and the latest in high-resolution viewer technology. Complementing our teleradiology capabilities, we also have nearly 450 linear feet of analog view boxes in specially designed reading rooms which enable our physicians to efficiently and accurately read more than 500 analog studies per day. NRG also has more than 100 feet of view box space dedicated to mammography. Teleradiology National Radiology Group was one of the nation's first providers to offer teleradiology report services in the early 1990s. We have continued to grow our teleradiology business as radiology has evolved and are now considered a leader in the industry. We utilize a state-of-the art PACS system that integrates seamlessly with our internal RIS to provide our physicians a highly productive and easy-to-use operating environment. With a creative workflow designed to maximize our radiologist’s time, report generation can be as fast as 30 minutes from the time we get the images from your facility. In addition, we have a brand new digitizer which allows us to transform analog studies into digital format. This provides unique flexibility with study assignment and allows us to manage a higher volume per day than most other service providers. Analog While teleradiology is the future, there are many facilities that still utilize analog technology for their patient care. As radiology evolves, fewer and fewer providers are willing to read analog studies for whatever reason. National Radiology Group sees the value of analog and will continue to offer high-quality service in this medium until it no longer exists. So if you are struggling to find a professional team to provide your analog reports, stop here. We have a world-class on-site analog reading center located within our facility. We have the capability to hang and read more than 500 analog studies per day with what we call a "silent workflow". Our analog reading rooms are segregated for sound and allow our professional technicians to hang films in one room while a radiologist reads films undisturbed in another.
